I was raised Christian, started questioning things when I grew tired of the petty infighting and hypocrisy, and left when I faced my fear of having been duped and asked myself the hard questions, one of which involved the story of Job. I'll admit I'm no expert on Mormons but my understanding was they have their own holy book written relatively recently that overrides parts of the Bible hence why I consider it a spinoff religion.
They do have the Book of Mormon, but I never felt like it overshadowed the Bible. They focus a lot on the parables of Christ. I can't really remember much about the Book of Mormon because they are more focused on the New Testament.
