I'm kinda half and half on this. Imo, having pride over your skin color is dumb, but having pride over your ancestry is kinda different. If your family came from a certain culture, there's nothing wrong with celebrating it. But, "white, black, asian, etc" aren't cultures, they're just skin colors. You can't celebrate them unless you read way into it and start getting into dumb racist shit. It's like the difference between celebrating that your family is Irish, or South African, or insert any nationality. A country is a real place that has a specific culture to celebrate, skin colors don't have cultures across the board, it's just dumb.
