I really wish I could sell it myself. It is highly sought after and I am a minor golden goose. I would trade for a steak to help me make more blood, is that reasonable and legal?
I wish. The issue is that if you pay people for blood, you end up with people lying about HIV, drug use, etc.
Not sure how you overcome this without being able to rapidly test up front
Plasma centers pay people for blood.. used to be $50 per session, and could give every 3 days.
People absolutely lie about their blood borne diseases. The blood gets screened for viruses, but it’s not 100%.
And yes, there is a huge market for blood. The Red Cross gets free blood from donors, and the patient who receives blood gets billed around $650 per unit transfused.
I know three people with type O blood who were living with an active Chyna virus patient without isolating, and they never got it. There is a theory that Type O is protective.
As an O negative person without the vaccine, I will donate as much as I can in red states, and never a single drop in a blue state.
O- too. Problem is they sell it wherever it’s needed, even internationally. Would be nice if we could start a private network

Oh yeah, that would be problematic.
