I actually think the best solution is to go back to something like we used to have where only landowners over 24 and add net tax payers get to vote. That would get rid of most of the soy men and most women (but allowing the responsible ones to vote). Widowed women who controlled their dead husband's estate could vote.
Pretty sure in many states any landowner over 24 could vote. Also the first slave owner in america was black.
I agree with you. You have to have skin in the game to be able to make decisions about how it's played IMO. The oligarchs in power (let's not kid ourselves, our Republic has been gone a while) will never go back to that though.
