Fake and gay.

Also, use of lethal force to protect property is not legal in any state except Texas, and in Texas, only at night, defined as from 30 minutes after sunset and 30 minutes before sunrise.

Putting yourself in this situation means you have created a situation where lethal force could be necessary and where in many states or with many local DAs, you would be considered the aggressor because you initially escalated with the presence of a firearm.

Know your local laws and know the risks and costs involved in using your firearms for your own self-defense and the defense of others.

pretty shitty in my opinion. basically says let people rob you and only escalate if they shoot at you first.

Remember in the 1800's when you could shoot a robber in face with your 6 shooter and it was totally exceptable? Or when you stole someone's horse and they strung you up in the middle of town? The old west delt with thieves the right way...

Might be barbaric but I do believe in public humiliation and corporal / capital punishment.

How many looters would there be if they lost a hand every time they got caught?

I said this at work (steal, lop your hand) and people started looking at me funny.

It is not barbaric. It is called actions=consequences.

I agree it sucks, but law abiding gun owning citizens all have a target on their backs. Many of them live in jurisdictions where the local DA is absolutely itching to throw them to the wolves. Look at Kyle Rittenhouse or the couple from St. Louis.
