We’re already living in a dystopian story. A single party controls the population, leveraging fear of a virus to lock us inside. Media, communications, corporations and politicians all coordinate their messaging to silence and demonize opposition. Language is artificially mutated to manipulate the population. I could go on and on.
This is literally the intersection of 1984, Brave New World, and Fahrenheit 451.
