Agreed. 1776 was doable because there were two legit military forces battling it out. We have no option like that. Best we could do is ISIS style ops which would just end up disastrous for everyone. Our best bet from a "legal" standpoint is for a state or multiple states to come together and form some sort of "new" union to stand against what is happening. Otherwise the people will have no other choice but to engage in awful civil disobedience exercises with minimal public support. It's a shitty situation all around.
This isn't 1776. The only realistic tool we have to combat the tyranny in Washington now is a Convention of the States.
