I think that Philosophy is the last hope for humanity, it being the only method we have devoloped to test IDEAS for accuracy. I have yet to see any examples of spreading the RIGHT ideas as an actual solution to all problems. On the contrary, what Rand predicted is coming true, and I am about to quit and go Galt.

Philosophy failed. Philosophy is the soap box. You aren't even allowed to discuss most pertinent philosophical concepts relating to the problems of modern day life. And most people are happy to help the tyrants silence anyone who tries. And even if you get someone to talk about it, they just call you a name or label you as one thing or another and stop listening. Philosophy is not the answer. I wish it was, but it's pretty evident at this point that it isn't.

Thought is a requirement for human survival and Philosophy is equivalant to the scientific method for abstract ideas. Those humans that are the most accurate will receive the most benefit. I agree that Americans have consciously/ unconsciously chosen philosophical ideas that are false/inaccurate, which results in all the "unexplainable" negative outcomes.Example, medical community refutes claims of bacteria for years, even with evidence, but wonders why they cant get better results. Hence why I am seriously planning to "quit" for the next several years. This level of stupid needs to be starved out.

Not if the inaccurate ones kill them.
