Holy shit. I wouldn't have expected the Dem number. He's great. If the average Republicans had one hundredth the spine DeSantis has, we wouldn't be in this mess.
It's because DeSantis, even though he's uncharismatic compared to Trump, seems to be able to do trump-style politics without pissing off suburbanites.
Remains to be seen if it can be held up on a national scale, but I honestly think he has serious potential, we'd just have to steal him away from florida lol.
If you could combine DeSantis' policies and message discipline with President Trump's charisma, that could not be beaten anywhere with a legitimate election system, unlike the third world shithole system we have.
Very true, but DeSantis also broke the broward county cheating board, sorry elections board so I'd wager if anyone knows how to sniff out cheating, it'd be him (and he wouldn't fall for the same trap that Trump did IMO).
I think he wins in a legitimate election system even without the Trump style charisma, adding that on top would likely put him above 400 EV.

The thing that bugs me when I think about Florida - Remember how this was a battleground state? For multiple elections it's come down to recounts and weeks of finding ballots. Strange that when DeSantis forced everyone to follow the law or face a judge to explain themselves the vote was quickly decidedly for Trump. Not even close to a battleground state. Strange.
