I can understand dui charges getting dropped if he was under the limit, sure. The consumption of alcohol at a federal park one was cut and dry, I presume the penalty is minor anyway. That’s all reasonable enough, I guess.

But wtf, “unlikely” friend?? Why would Bruce be an unlikely friend? If you were gonna point out any two people and say they became friends, in no universe would I think those two being friends is unlikely. Trump and Springsteen? That’s unlikely. Obama and like Ted nugent or whoever, that’s unlikely. Obama and Springsteen? It’s stupid to suggest that it’s unlikely they’d be friends.

He was at 0.02 alcohol per the test. DUI should not have even been considered.

The fine for drinking in the park was $500, per the NY Post. He paid it and left.
