I turned on the local news for a couple minutes while I was getting ready for work today. So they wanted to show the % of people getting vaccines but they wanted to splitting it up in to different groups. So how do they split it up you ask age groups? Of course not they said "60% of democrats have gotten the vaccine and only 40% of republicans have gotten it". So the relevance of someone's political leanings when looking at vaccine numbers is??? Oh of course is to help bring the country together right.

No such thing as local news, follow the money. Local media was al bought up by conglomerates, they get their marching orders from the same place as CNN.
I turned off all news. Watching that propaganda is a waste of time.
I mostly watch just to get mad idk why i do it and kind of as back ground noise as i get dressed in the morning
LOL, that's why I stopped watching. It just pissed me off, and I thought, why should I be pissed off all the time over these fools? It is sometimes entertaining, though.

My local news, Detroit area, is a non-stop Vaccine commercial!!!!
Seattle passed a resolution stating that all blacks deserve to be vaccinated before white people. Officially. It was a unanimous vote. This is the definition of institutionalized racism.
If I were black I'd be scared of this. Although I'd find solace in the fact that I don't live in Africa because then I'd know I'd be paralyzed or sterilized if I took it.
An important point, the reason behind this decision is that black and brown communities are disproportionately affected by the virus. And yet, Africans are barely experiencing it in comparison. Me thinks this is just made up. So I'd be inclined to think that they want to give it to black people for other reasons.
A very dark part of me is okay with this....
I can only watch local news for the few minutes the weather is on. I always find it hilarious that they shut the place down for 1/8th inch of snow, overnight that is melted in the morning.
This is extremely dangerous to our democracy
