In November after several months of people wearing masks the covid numbers went through the roof and over the past month have dropped 70%. All with no change in mask rules. You might argue about people staying inside in the winter, but people were still inside when the numbers dropped. Masks make a negligible difference at best.
I began tracking the stats here in OH after masks were mandated. For a while, the daily case count fluctuated up and down with no change, and then there was a large spike again. Almost as if masks have no value....

Probably. Too bad we can't get some reliable scientific analysis to quantify the efficacy.
