I picked up a chick last weekend and we were fooling around almost to the knocking boots part and she said "before we go further I want to tell you I'm 41 and need to get a baby inside me before it's too late". I noped out.
All of my evidence is empirical, but it's not nearly as rare as it used to be. Older mothers, that is. I had my daughter when I was 28. My OB told me it's good to have a baby "so young," and I thought, WTF, I'm not young.
As a Millennial, I feel as if most of my peers have just started having kids, while we've been done for years.
Ages 35, 37, 39, 34. Yikes.
Do people really think it’s that unusual for women to have babies in their thirties?
It's not unusual these days, no, but it certainly isn't ideal. It's a lot easier to conceive and have a healthy birth during the 20s.
No they don’t. It does after 40.
They start to consider more risky 35+
Yeah that's really not true. It might for some women who have health risks, but healthy women are fine having kids well into their 30's.
What? Does that seem old?
Anything after 35 is considered a geriatric pregnancy, so it's not young. It's best to be finishing up having kids by then.
Just finished my 20s and have 4. Totally worth it.

Exactly what I was going to point out.
Ugh. Modern women
