Me and my wife just got the kungflu and the worst part was losing our smell and taste. Our smell is about 40% back but that is the worst of it. It took us a year to actually get it and don't wear our masks unless we're in a store. To treat people like this for a virus that ended up being as bad as the regular flu is insane. They're never gonna let us have our freedoms back.
How many tests did you have to take for your results, follow up question, how many times have you make an appointment and gotten a flu test in the past, just to confirm? What was the remedy for the flu when you may or may not have gotten it in the past?
I concur... when my son was 2, he ran up a temp that was high enough for concern, we took him into a 24hr walk in clinic that could DO NOTHING, except ass temperature him... no joke, I was like, I just did ear, head and mouth... anal probe says what? Why do I have better materials at home and why am I here... next day normal hours with his pediatrician, well yes he’s sick... NASAL FLU SWAB INCOMING... shock to him and I.... results... he has the flu... OMG doc, I’m a first time parent and this is scary, what can I do?? Doctor advice ~ nothing!!!! I've never had the flu in the past or at least the full blown version of the flu. Never been tested for it either or been to the doctor for it. We got tested for the kungflu after the OBGYN forced us to since my wife is pregnant.
It was one test from CVS with the cotton swab and then it came back positive two days later. We waited an additional week to test and it came back negative after having over two weeks of symptoms. We took the covid test in the second week of symptoms just cause the loss of smell was so weird.

The flu was way worse than when I had COVID.

make sure your sense of humor is intact and you're not slowly becoming more liberal.

Rememdies for the flu/cold for me were just water, flu medicine for the symptoms and plenty of rest.
