Looking at the evidence, I believe it was a psy-op. Very sad, as she seemed authentic in her video. However, I guess once military, always military so she obeyed orders.

Putting that aside, I wondered why they did it. Possibly, as a way to shock and Demoralize.

I suspect it was also demonstrating that we now live under Rule of Man/Power, not Rule of Law. So the powerful are allowed to publicly kill, steal, etc without punishment.
