I'm trying to consider the possibility that OP is demonstrating their efforts. They didn't just put their poster up on some random pole in a neighborhood, they put it up in a high traffic area.

I'm not in OP's area, so I would never contact him or that email address. But it is setting and demonstrating a good example of the kinds of things we should be doing.
