The best evidence that America isn't racist is that calling someone a racist is still effective at times. It's only effective because we've collectively condemned racism.
It's never going to stop until the political class has drained every bit of use from anything that could possibly divide people. They need people to be divided in order for their two-party illusion to work. That's why everything we do is presented as an attack on the left's way of life, and everything we say or think is labeled as "racist" so the other side hates us.
If the people are not at each other's throats the politicians in both parties have no framework to implement their system of playing the people against each other for votes, money and power.
We were raised to be color blind. Other non white cultures spent the same time teaching their kids about in-group preferences, racial pride and operation rhetoric.
