Even with divorce rape it's possible to come out ahead. I'm saving more due to fewer expenses (bigger houses every x years, new cars every 3 years, home remodels, vacations twice a year)... and when I retire 5k a month looks like a large amount of money... since I do not need to continue paying for those until death.
