Devil’s advocate here - Blue areas/large cities are where the most people can be helped. Also our dem mayors fuck up shit and Abbott dropped the ball on this too when he should have told ERCOT that in no uncertain terms were they to listen to the feds about how to run our own damn grid.
That said, the response from Biden (or lack thereof) shows he clearly does not give 2 shits about Texas. His DoE’s absurd regulations on emissions nearly destroyed our grid for months.
Another pede said this may be the JFK moment from the dems where they off Biden and without evidence, blame republicans/Trump. It honestly would not shock me.
