Unpopular opinion: Trans people are just gay/lesbians, but we have a society that pushes self-destructive behavior. 30-40 years ago, these people wouldn't have jumped to the conclusion that they were born in the "wrong body". Nah, you were born in the body you were born in, you just happen to be kind of faggy. Nothing wrong with that.

If I was gay, I would hate trans people, and not accept them. Is there not a gay community that doesn't accept them?

Many gays and lesbians feel that trans people are hijacking their movement. Traditional feminists like JK Rowling are also critical of them.
