Got hit in the eye by a bumble bee (no sting) at 50 mph once. Could not see out of either eye for almost a minute. VERY lucky I was on a straight road. I just coasted to a stop.
Took a June Bug to the forehead at about the same speed. CRACK! It stung pretty bad. Can't imagine getting hit in the eye by one on a highway. But, ya know, they are safe from covid.
I took a GIANT grasshopper to the face once while riding at 70mph. Had I not had a helmet on it could have done real damage. My ears rang from the sound of it hitting my face shield.

Ha, did that at 50 MPH on my Jet Ski. Had to dig part of the little bastard's leg out of my forehead. June bugs have some heft.
