Mcafee Antivirus software was/is famous for doing more damage than good to a computer. If you are using the computer on a closed network, one not on or connected to the internet, the simple reality is that there is no point in a antivirus software. Putting it on a closed system or network is essentially infecting your otherwise pure system or network.
