Got hit in the eye by a bumble bee (no sting) at 50 mph once. Could not see out of either eye for almost a minute. VERY lucky I was on a straight road. I just coasted to a stop.
Took a June Bug to the forehead at about the same speed. CRACK! It stung pretty bad. Can't imagine getting hit in the eye by one on a highway. But, ya know, they are safe from covid.
Not even a rock, any bug over the size of a grain of rice will nearly knock a tooth out at 80 mph.

Ha, did that at 50 MPH on my Jet Ski. Had to dig part of the little bastard's leg out of my forehead. June bugs have some heft.
