If the two kids were biologically the same...wouldn't they be the same colour?

If people were really biologically the same, wouldn't we literally be exactly the same?

Yes and no. Melanin production and distribution happens based on genetics, but the mechanism is the same. Same thing with other traits. People bring up body odor. Blacks have the same glands, they just produce more odor.

Theoretically you could trigger melanin level changes and skin color would change naturally, but outside od a mutation or an illness i don't know what would trigger that organically.

One day you'll be able to use nanomolecular engineering to change your skin color at will. It'll take a few days to shed all remaining old skin though, but it will probably be very popular amongst actors for role versatility.

Labs already have working synth skin that can change colors at will with artificial melanin. "CHAMELEON" skin, would not be surprised if special ops was already using it for covert work overseas.

At that point color becomes irrelevant and culture and nationality will shape identity, as it should be. Hyphenism could be a thing of the past.

Ok, then explain the differences in brain size between races.
