My son's close group of friends in one of his classes; of the 7 kids, he is the ONLY one who identifies as a straight white male. And I am NOT shitting you. It's fucking abhorrent and makes no damn fuckin sense. They are all either (as they claim) demi, pan, asexual, trans, bi, etc. They are only 13 yrs old!
One of the kids in the class has been trying to convert my son (keeps telling him he should be his first boyfriend and that it's "cool to be different" even though apparently different is being fuckibg normal now and we are dealing with some issues now bc of it. We have already switched his school for next yr to get him out of this group of kids and working on things to finish out these last 12 wks at current school. (Most of what's come up has just been discovered with last 12wks of school remaining)
