I know a few of the respiratory consultants and infectious disease consultants in the UK. They're not bothering testing with the respiratory panel they just test for covid. There was a govt study published quietly in September last year looking at coinfection with the summer flu, they found coinfection increased the risk of severe disease by 5x... I wouldn't be surprised if most deaths were actually related to flu coinfection, but they won't test for it so there ya go. Don't want to upset the narrative do we.
