Oh that's pretty good. The death rate has gradually been increasing over the last few years it seems. Almost like maybe we have an aging population or something?!
Almost...and almost like that required them to be, on par, healthier than the earlier groups of the same age, but, almost also like that has a limit as the curve slowly expanded higher with average life expectancies, but, hey, science that doesn't correlate with the hysterical "follow the science" unscientific actions driven by politics isn't science according to those who wouldn't know 32.2 ft/s^2 if they fell off of a cliff and validated it empirically with their accelerating body.
I think it was obvious I was talking in regards to the UK, but I have added an edit. I will do more research on the US as it is interesting if there hasn't been the same trend there.
Understood. I simply threw that out there as evidence against all of it, as the UK, like many other countries, has been much more draconian than the US, and the US has no statistically significant impact due to its lenient, balkanized approaches to lockdown. (Lockdown, a term previously reserved only for use to manage a prison population. Yet, I suppose it still is used just for that, given some thought.)
All of the data and studies are out there to show this being true all over the globe, but they make it very difficult to find. I wonder why "they" would bury data when they sing "follow the science!' as their favorite hymn in front of the alter of Political Motivation.
We have never been a less scientifically-oriented society since we organized as a discernable society. I can forgive the people of the Middle Ages for their silly talismans and submission to the "witch doctor" advice they followed during times of panic. I will not give any such leniency of judgement to modern humans.
My point was just to refuke the original person's point that the UK has suffered from Covid this year, and deaths in 2020 were about 85,000 more than the 5 year rolling average.
That being said, I agree with you that lockdowns shouldn't have been implemented. If the UK and other countries just done more to protect high risk groups such as the eldery, it would have been better and the economy would have been in a much better state. Liberal's have minimal critical thinking skills.
To that, in true Orwellian form, "liberal" now means illiberal, as proven by the average "liberal's" deeds and words. They are closed-minded, disinterested in considering other points of view or opinions, and dangerously intoxicated on their assuredness of their own perfection of thought, and the need for it to be imprinted upon us all, by any means necessary.
False.

Fair point, on both counts.
