My point is that in 2020 deaths are much higher than other years, and your source proved my point. I did not say anything about supporting lockdowns.

It proves my point. Government data is clear that 2020 has lower death rates than a year of no pandemic at all.

You are seriously deluded if you think going back 19 years proves your point. With medical advances, the average rate of deaths falls over time. So why did so many people die in 2020 in the UK? Was everyone suddenly in a car crash (within a month of testing positive for Covid)?

You want a selectively small time window to support an argument you have wedded yourself to.

Good job on ignoring the fact that average deaths fall over time, and 2020 is a statistical anomaly which was not simply caused by people becoming worse at driving.
