Flu deaths being counted as covid.

In the UK, if you die from a car crash within a month of recovering from covid, cause of death is recorded as covid.

If you look at average deaths for 2020 compared to other years, you will find that it is much higher though.

Edit: I was talking in the context of the UK, I have not checked statistics for the USA. The comment I replied to was also in context of the UK.

Oh that's pretty good. The death rate has gradually been increasing over the last few years it seems. Almost like maybe we have an aging population or something?!
