I think most don't explicitly aim to be unethical either though. Being a doctor today means watching your ass and avoiding legal exposure. So, a lot of them just don't put up a fuss when big pharma and big gov start colluding and mandating complete bullshit. Others are obvious sellouts trying to make money (see any celebrity doctor supporting this covid nonsense). But, some brave ones do take a stand too. Like those docs in CA that tried to call out the bullshit early last year.

I guess the real lesson, which applies to all professions, is that they are all people, and just as flawed as the rest of us.
