I always thought welfare programs was reparations for slavery, at least that is what they taught us in school.....We been paying reparations for 60 years that I'm aware of.
Since liberals always want to say the Civil War was about slavery and slavery alone, then wouldn't a person need to just calculate the cost of the civil War? Seems to me like that would be the reparation money......

Black should go ask reparations from africa from the tribal elders who sold their ancestors to Whites. Also there were a lot of black slave owners in America during slavery in fact first LEGAL slave owner was a black man.

I am against reparations. Afterall, you cant get blood from a tulip. The african american community is already mostly low income. They're also the biggest slave owners and traders in history. Slaves came in all colors but only 5% of the worlds slaves came to north america at that time.
Its kind of like the paris climate accord. Everyone has to pay and punish themselves except for the country that does all the polluting, China. China nets all the rewards at the end if the day. It is only China that benefits. Apparently, the biggest slave traders aren't responsible for reparations, in fact they demand to inslave more people to subsized their immoral lifestyles.
If you look at the welfare system and the welfare queens and the fact 80-90% of black people are on welfare that is already wayyy too much in reparations and what a lot of good it did them.
