In the instance of college loans, I’ve begun to believe that it’s a form of usury. I have been of the previous opinion that they took the loan and they should pay it back.
However, the services rendered was not what was promised. Thus a lot of these kids got defrauded, as I suspect none wanted to be indoctrinated with communist propaganda.
I don’t think debt forgiveness is the answer, as that just pays off the thieves with the peoples money. No, I think the debts should be transferred to the universities and banking institutions that advocated for this graft to be implemented.
