ACB is a prime example of what I'm talking about. There were better qualified men but people actually promoted the idea we should nominate her simply because she's a woman and we need more women for the sake of equality. Absolutely horrendous to see conservatives go down this path.

As someone with ovaries, and a JD / years of practice experience, I can attest that the vast majority of women don't have what it takes (myself included) -- testosterone and balls. We're created / programmed to birth babies and nurture, not to do battle.
Yes, I think she is rather liberal. She is very pretty and stylish, and I appreciated her efforts to promote jobs in the trades and apprenticeships, but she's still liberal. I didn't agree with her push for mandating extended maternity leave. Frankly, I don't understand how it's at all fair. Having a child is not like an unexpected illness. Your employer should not be obligated to pay you for not working for months on end, and your colleagues should not be obligated to cover your work (generally without extra pay) for months on end. Stay home and raise your children, your entire family will be better for it.
I agree. Maternity leave is a load of bullshit. Women in the workforce isn’t helping things either to some extent. My wife will not be obligated to work. I’d rather she play her part in raising the family. Not to mention the home schooling. Gonna be hard to find in the current environment, but I think I will.
