As a grown man I find children annoying, grandchildren tolerable in small doses. Being attracted to children is not normal. The only exception would be when you are also a child. When I was 16 I thought 16 year old girls were attractive.

I can't tell if you were being facetious or not. 16 year olds attracted to 16 year olds is normal. Of course, there's the instance of a 25 yo committing sexual battery on a 15 year old. That would probably brand the perp as a sexual offender or a sexual predator, but pedophile has a distinct definition.

I was being tong in cheek above but the point I was trying to make was that before puberty there is no sexual attraction between children. As we reach puberty it was my experience that girls of similar age were sexually attractive. As I got older the women I see as attractive have aged also. Being on the back side of 50 women have to be at least into their thirties to not appear as children to me. No worries though, my wife has taken me off the market.
