To be accurate- Curry doesn't say it's all a hoax. She is a "warmist". She believes man is warming the planet. She does argue about how much ,and if the solution's that are proposed are needed.
That's my stance on it, really. I'm not a climatologist but I'm an engineer that's skeptical of the prediction power of models attempting to guess the most complex systems on the planet.
It's obvious the years are trending warmer, I'll even say we have something to do with it, but I don't believe the doomsday bullshit saying we're all going to fucking die in X number of decades if we don't scrap all of our cars for electric scooters, paint the land in inefficient windmills and solar panels and pretend the rest of the world is going to start giving a fuck.
Look into Tony Heller's look at climate numbers, we are not actually warming. Water levels can't rise in one area and fall in another, somebody is sinking.
Hottest on record is actually early 20th century, most forest fire acres are from about the same time. Ice sheets are growing, etc.
He has tons of videos, using observed data to refute a lot or most all of the climate change statements.
