I went to Michigan Tech, he has more people in the administration and other professors on his side than most colleges. I had a professor that assigned Bill O’Reilly’s book The No Spin Zone, and he wasn’t hating on the book. I’m so thankful for that Professor. The area itself will push out people that aren’t mentally strong because of how much snow the place gets. If you can’t get through shoveling and brushing snow off your car for six months out of the year, sometimes multiple times on the same day, you will hate the area.
I graduated a year before you. I’d love to hear the reason they canceled the hobo parade. The professor I had that assigned us The No Spin Zone was from the ROTC program. He taught one of those first year elective courses. I did have another Professor that didn’t even hide that he was conservative, but he was basically untouchable because he brought in so much research money for his department. He ended up being on at least a three year sabbatical from Tech. He even had a job at another college overseas during it, but he was still featured on Tech’s website for the department.
