Regarding the Cartoon Network "anti-racism" PSA: propaganda in kids shows is not new, us 90's kids were endlessly assaulted with fatalist propaganda about how the Earth was "dying" and only "environmentalists" could save it. (media.patriots.win)

My parents wouldn’t let me watch this show (among others) growing up.

I used to think they were crazy and being hyperbolic about all of the propaganda in TV and movies that they would point out and scoff at, but they were 100% right and while it has gotten a lot worse, it’s nothing new.

Now I’m even worse about calling out propaganda in the middle of a show, and because of it I barely watch any TV shows or movies anymore. Thanks Mom and Dad!
