Dog thefts are very common here in Hollywood - I wish we could shoot dog thieves like they used to shoot horse thieves in the wild west.

One of the popular scams is to have a woman approach the person walking the dog and ask some weird questions - while the person walking the dog is distracted, a car will roll up and someone will jump out to snatch the dog - then the woman runs away.
Also, people tie up their dogs outside stores which don't allow dogs and these scumbags just hang around and wait for young dogs (which command a higher price) to be left unattended for a few minutes and they take off with them.
Anywhere there are things of value there will be people to steal them. The reason you see it so much in Hollywood is they are too cucked to do anything about it.
