Had anyone else noticed that in nearly every photo and video of Biden doing anything, Harris is in the corner, standing aside watching, almost sinisterly? Maybe the message is intended to be that he values and appreciates her involvement - but it really comes off as kind of intimidating and paternal on her part.

I used to think there was some unspoken rule about not having the president and vice president at the same place all the time - in case something happened to one of them. but either that rule does not really exist and I just made it up, or it's been completely broken here.
You're not wrong, it's a continuity of government / designated survivor thing.
But in this fucked up clown world, everything else is upside down, why shouldn't this be too?
