Also, for a single district ,there can be several polling stations so the voters are dispatched all over the district.
To cheat, one would need to compromise the majority of the polls workers which is practically impossible.
In France, they don't cheat the way the democrat cheat , rather they influence the voters toward the chosen candidate.
They find dirt on the main opponent or the most serious one and plaster all over the medias so the candidate has to drop out. They did it the last 2 elections for Dominique Strauss Kahn and Francois Fillon.
Lepen had no chance because except her hard line about immigration and , she had no economic program ( Economy was and still is the main preoccupation of French people), she is too far right, while Macron appealed to centrists. She got destroyed in the debate by Macron.
So, yes Macron was backed by the globalists and won because of their support but not by cheating at the booth.
