President is a job that requires good instincts. You need to be able to make the right decision in 5 seconds if someone bursts in and wakes you up with an emergency.
Cruz has terrible instincts. Every time someone shoves a microphone in his face, he says something dumb. He is a smart guy. He'll get to the right decision eventually if he has time to think. He needs a slower paced job, more deliberative.
I'd support him for Supreme Court any day. Just not for President.
