Kobach is a fucking idiot. He lost the governors race by 5 points to the Democrat in 2018 in Kansas. How shitty of a campaign do you have to run to lose by that much in a red state? I'd rather not lose a safe Senate seat to a Dem by running him.

Kansan here. While we can't rule out fraud anymore, I do remember reading an online article from a local news outlet a few months after the 2018 midterm that went into detail as to how crappy a campaign Kobach ran. He didn't even have a campaign office with a phone. Literally. People wanted to donate money and volunteer for him but COULDN'T because they couldn't even get in contact with him and his people. All he did was say "I support Trump" and sat back waiting for the votes to come rolling in. He also really shot himself in the foot by talking some crap on education funding, or something along those lines. I remember thinking at the time that it was a dumb move because whatever he was going on about was really a non-issue seeing as how it was the straw that broke the camel's back for a lot of people when it came to supporting him.

Probably not completely accurate, but he has huge negatives and has been the target of over a decade of daily false hit pieces that have cut him off at the hips. Just like what the media did with Brownback
