On the morning of 7 April 2017, the United States launched 59 Tomahawk cruise missiles from the Mediterranean Sea into Syria, aimed at Shayrat Airbase controlled by the Syrian government. The strike was executed under responsibility of U.S. President Donald Trump, as a direct response to the Khan Shaykhun chemical attack that occurred on 4 April.
You don't understand the political dynamic going on here, or at least you seem not to. Trump performed a symbolic bombing of Syria after Assad "gassed" his own people (this was a false flag meant to kick off the occupation of Syria).
The problem with occupying Syria is that Russia has a naval base in Syria, so they can't afford to just give it up. Syria is 100% about pitting the US against Russia, two starkly anti-communist countries. Trump could have easily taken the bait of the Assad "gassings" and used it to go to war if he wanted to. Instead, he bombed a few empty airfields, even announcing the bombings ahead of time. Biden is approving airstrikes without doing so reactively. He's proactively attacking Syria.
If you're pro-war, then fine, but don't act like Trump didn't make peace in the Middle East AND with North Korea during his 4 years.
Well, Trump also did this
Zero deaths!
So if information comes in on this Biden strike that there were zero deaths, is his strike suddenly completely forgiven?
