Coming from someone who was almost 300 lbs to now 165 (gained 10 lbs oops..stupid alcohol and covid)...(for reference to my post)

I was always heavy but was never proud of it! I feel SO much better being smaller and even though I was healthy (no medications, non hypertensive, no high cholesterol) I was miserable and embarrassed. ALL THE TIME.

Idk why people think being overweight is ok. I won't ever shame someone, I just think they think it's ok because deep down they hate the fact that they are overweight. NOBODY wants to be fat. It is SO hard to loose weight. I had to have surgery, which I have 0 regrets about, but I totally get the struggle. Have some compassion is all. Also not trying to glorify obesity. Theres nothing good from that.

Also, Idk why people still think fat jokes are funny.

Encouraging unhealthy behavior does not make unhealthy people any less unhealthy.

But honestly sometimes overweight people don't have health issues.

Not to say it won't catch up with them...
