Cause death and chaos for millions and there is no hard evidence Assad is guilty of the war crime he was accused of.

Putin called for an international investigation after it happened, in 2013 but the U.S. went in and obliterated the site right afterwards. Why? To get "bad guys" or to cover up evidence? We may never know.

However, about the same time, we went in and devastated peaceful and relatively prosperous Libya without providing any coherent reason for doing so. What it looks like is we funded an insurrection, and when it looked that was going to fail, we (and other western countries) instituted a no-fly zone, and when it looked like Qaddafi's government was going to prevail even with that, we just went in and broke our foot off in his ass. Why? At the time, Libya was more peaceful and prosperous than most of its Arab neighbors. Christians didn't have to live in fear in Libya because the government protected them. Libya wasn't being aggressive with any of its neighbors. So why did we do what we did? Plenty of theories going around on that, but a post for another day.

Learning the available truth about these events shattered my belief in the West as perennial good guys on the world stage that I held since I was a kid. , I am inclined to believe some Western countries, and specifically America, are the villains in this story..

That is why I support Trump, come what may. He sees these atrocities for what they are and genuinely wants to make the United States the good guys again.
