No, just pointing out the facts. Yes, that's true. Maybe because neither Quaddaffi (who did harbor the Lockerbie terrorist and was attacked by Reagan, always good things to remember, no matter what happened after) nor Assad should be treated as our buddies -- they aren't. So, in light of that, the only thing I really care about (and am opining) is that Joe Biden will likely fuck this up, but outside of that -- if Assad wants to allow Iranian backed militias in his country that attack American troops...then I don't give a rat's ass what happens to him or his country; just let it be effective.
And I did watch that video presentation. I don't have anything against Jimmy Dore, but he is a comedian and a progressive. I have to take the man's background and bias into account. I'll tell you mine: my family is a military one -- I don't much care for people who attack U.S. troops no matter who puts them in place, and I like history; I also don't like socialists, no matter what form they may take -- there you go, that's my bias.
