This is indeed a HUGE DEAL ...it was obvious from the git-go that the rent moratorium was unconstitutional...but regardless, here we are as they say. A good 10-15% of the tenants in my DC building haven't paid rent since last year...and have no way of ever paying it. When the shit hits, they'll just move out, leaving the landlords holding the financial bag. ... and it's likewise in most of the other buildings in the middle to lower income neighborhoods.
