Stop idolizing politicians. They always, ALWAYS, disappoint. Take a more sane tack. If they behave, we say nothing. If they misbehave, we bring the pain of 1000's of unhappy voters. This works for a simple reason. If they are good people, they do not need your adoration to do what is right, and will do so under fire as well. If the are attention seeking narcissists, they will do as they are told to prevent being ridiculed.

The mask is good.

Trusting politicians is a mistake that you got to make a couple times in your life. MTG needs some accomplishments under her belt, but I think having a provocateur in congress is a good thing.

So for her, we are silent. No praise, just in case she Crenshaws... (she will).

being silent is not a good strategy, but I think you should speak for yourself, not for your party. Praise if you want, don’t if you don’t.

You know I mean they (politicians) get no praise, not that we should be silent, right? They do what we say, or they go back to slinging coffee. They are not special, nor born to rule/lead. They vote our will, or will be replaced.

So how's that negative reinforcement working out on your kids?

My kids are not politicians. Reading is Fundamental, and your imagined premises are something you need to work on. You are welcome.
