Also, you can’t keep belongings in your trunk if you don’t keep your car with you. I think the future would be better to reduce the need for people to commute to work when it’s unnecessary (like they are doing now) than reduce the need or ability to drive yourself somewhere
That would be really hard to make but great idea! They already have true hovering but the way it works is it just blows air on the ground and the ground pushes back. If you went up a flight of stairs it would rock back and forth or move up and down like a hand truck, so you would need active control and thrust vectoring to keep it stable. So basically like a very powerful quad copter that automatically stays level. You could have one right now, it would just be bigger than your stairs and it would bite
It does work like magic if you’re not the one doing it. It’s just gradually applied. Like you need other technologies first before a wild idea becomes possible, but most things in star wars for example are possible. There is a lot of technology that would change the way the world works totally if it weren’t suppressed
