Went to AZ from MN on vacation to warm up and possibly a new stare to live. We were excited and heard good things about Arizona only to find more COVID scared linerals than socialist Minnesota? WTF?

People are walking around outside by themselves in 75 degrees with masks on! Saw a guy put on his mask inside of his filthy car to pump gas and get back in his car to drive away.

The level of stupid in this state is very high!

Finally we went to a tourist trap near the Mexican border. There was a small bakery selling sweets. My wife and I went in and it smelled amazing. We were great until another group came in and she told them that only 1 more person could enter in order to be “safe” even though there were only 3 total people in the building.

The guy coming in asked what she was keeping us safe from? She got pretty pissed and said it was her store and her choice.

My wife and I put everything down at that point and let her know the customer is the most precious thing to a business and she just messed that up.

We all left Including the other group and she sold nothing.

We can’t believe Arizona is more liberal feeling than Minnesota just about everywhere we have gone here! C’mon AZ!!

There are 3 places in the US that I would consider paradise for people like me and you. Heiskell/Norris Tennesee, Monticello,KY, most of Montana. Warm places and places near the coast that are warm all year round attract liberals. Less work, no hardship....

I’m fortunate enough to be able to work from anywhere. My wife also. We live on a beautiful lake in Minnesota and want a similar lifestyle with a bit more warm weather. I think you’re correct on hardship in the colder climates. You have to prepare more, think ahead, be responsible or things die etc. Here in AZ it’s snakes bugs and the heat which I’m told isn’t bad after getting used to it. It’s not hard to stay alive here. The landscapes are amazing but the mindset here is not.
